Senior National Account Manager - Amazon  Consumer products division

What are key highlights of this role?

 

L’Oréal UKI is seeking dynamic, results driven SNAM to lead our Amazon CPD business across all categories. Amazon is our number 1 priority e-com customer and the role will have a direct report and work with a dedicated supply chain team of 2. The amazon account ream sits within a newly formed & purpose built pureplayers team with additional resource brought in for performance marketing, analytics & content to grow this strategic channel.  This is an exciting opportunity to take on an established amazon business and take it to the next level.

Main responsibilities:

Voice of the customer

Having a deep understanding of the Amazon business and being the voice of the customer internally.

Achieve core sales, brand and profit targets:

     Sales, market share, P&L down to operating profit with a clear understanding of supply chain costs.

Annual negotiations and terms discussions. Leveraging our Gross – Net investment for the best outcome. Ongoing negotiations on tactical events.

Selling, Range & promotions  

Owning trade day process from preparing to presenting Being the bridge between marketing and digital teams at L'Oréal, and the Amazon team, to create fantastic activations for our brands that will help Amazon become known as a destination for Beauty and that will grow CPD market share.
Use Search, Profitero and ARA data to identify white space opportunity (new formats, gestures, products) for CPD and create action with multifunctional teams to bring to life.
Conduct ongoing range optimisation for Core, Pantry, Fresh, Prime, Prime Now.
Build activation  & promotional plan that maximise share in key tent pole events: Prime day & blackfriday.

 

 Help develop multifunctional ways of working :

Working with performance marketing to formalise insights and recommendations on AMS & AMG  campaign management.
Primary contact for Amazon to bring together commercial, organic and paid marketing activities, and customer supply chain.
Lead monthly communications, strategy meetings etc. to inform stakeholders of customer developments.

What key skills are L’Oréal looking for?

 

Proven E-com experience &results - preferably at least 18 months experience in working with amazon.
Proven experience of managing customer P&Ls and KPIs
Good appreciation of digital marketing & supply chain in the beauty industry
