Consumer Products Division


The Consumer Products Division’s mission is universal: to offer the best in cosmetics innovation to the greatest number of people on every continent. Its brands are available in all mass-market channels (hypermarkets, supermarkets, pharmacy’s and retail stores). The division is the spearhead of the group’s quest to win over a further billion consumers. The Consumer Products Division includes popular brand such as L’Oréal Paris, NYX, Mixa, Garnier, Maybelline & Essie.


YOU WILL...

Define the UK and Ireland merchandising  strategy for your brands in line with the international brand positioning    contributing to year-on-year growth by driving new product launches and anniversarising pillar products

Oversee and guide brand execution, manage the priorities of the portfolio to ensure an optimum offering to the local market, adapting your strategy appropriately for the target consumers
Listen to and develop a deep understanding of local consumers and generate new insights to inspire the beauty industry
Monitor local trends and feedback your findings to your Zone and International Merchandising Teams to ensure each new product launch has maximum impact
Take ownership of international launches and in store impact to create the greatest impact and success in the market
Show a proactive approach to business opportunities
Maximise focus on key business drivers and “being a merchant” – creating a premium-mass environment with a focus on customer’s needs and potential sales.
Lead local adaptation of Point of Sale materials; influence International and the Zone to create suitable, effective and competitive promotion execution.
Manage the budget and the financial implications of forecasts, working closely with the Financial Controller
Recruit, develop, manage, lead and inspire your team, ensuring the development of expertise and know-how
Manage communication and relationships with retailers and suppliers
Collaborate with purchasing to ensure the best sourcing and project scope with suppliers.

YOU HAVE...
This role requires you to hold a degree level qualification
Driving Licence
Extensive experience in Visual Merchandising
Experience in Beauty / Retail industries
Creative eye with attention to detail
Strong commercial awareness
Presentation skills – confident with conviction
Experience working in a fast paced and changeable environment
Willingness to get hands dirty when required
