We currently have an opportunity in our Nottingham Distribution Centre for 3 Goods In Warehouse Operatives. Our working shift pattern is 06:00 – 14:00 & 13:50pm – 21:50pm.
Reporting into the Flows Supervisor, our ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate a flexible and conscientious approach to responsibilities and to behave in a ways which fits with our business values.
Primarily this role will require you to receipt all stock coming in from our International Suppliers. Some days you may be required to work in other departments dependent on the business need.
We will require three operatives, to work on across the 06:00 - 14:00 shift or the 13:50 - 21:50 shift. Your key job accountabilities will include
Working to Safe Systems of Work outlined in your training
Work within the acceptable productivity and accuracy targets set for your team
Following instruction and carrying out all required tasks
Maintain company standards and have a continuous improvement mindset
Support business needs by contributing with additional hours of work to support our customer needs
Contribute to value adding tasks and forums for improving the Distribution Centre function
Ad-hoc requirements as deemed by line manager, including project work

Alongside previous experience, you should have:
- Sound numeracy skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and effectively as part of a team
- Good Health and Safety Awareness
- Good attention to detail
- MHE licences are desirable but not essential; however, you must be willing to train on and operate all MHE and FLT equipment
- Good understanding of the warehouse operation
- A flexible approach to work tasks and working hours in order to meet the needs of the business
