JOB TITLE

Marketing Manager

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Define and steer the country strategy for the category consistent with the international brand positioning and the country’s priorities to contribute to continued growth for the brand and the consumer relationship

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Steer the collection and analysis of consumer and market insights, share findings to ensure the consistency of new product development with the country’s needs

- Take ownership of international launches and create the right angle of attack locally to build 360 integrated (salon & retail channels), engaging consumer brand experiences locally with a perfect on-time execution, with localization of content when needed.

- Supervise the entire marketing activation development process and the respect of deadlines

 - Track the budget (sales forecast; brand’s pricing strategy, A&P build up and follow up)

 - implement the marketing mix strategies (IMC/360/Digital/Retail/PR) and the adaptation of communication (imagery, digital, point of sales)

- Create and follow up on digital strategy (social and pure media specific to salons, ensuring the media performance and KPIs achieved.

 - Mobilize other departments (sales, logistic, education, PR, digital etc. ) and partner agencies to develop a broader marketing activations in line with the strategy.

- Build, develop and manage your team, train them and develop their marketing expertise and know-how

- Co-developing strategy for Influencer Marketing with PR team and ensure execution linked to marketing activation.

- Define and monitor salon and luxury retailer 360 marketing plan, implement promotions and ensure implementation of trade marketing plan

BRAND OWNERSHIP

- Translate the brand’s sense of purpose into consumer story for Consumer Touch points

- Translate Brand Equity on-ground through breakthrough touchpoints for all categories.

- Monitor the implantation of retail strategy working hand-in-hand with the retail and education team and monitor the proper implementation of retail materials (services, advice, etc.)

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

    • Strong brand DNA and product knowledge
    • >6 years of successful experience in marketing - Essential
    • Experience in managing direct team members – Essential
    • Arabic Speaking – Plus Point and Preferred
    • Luxury retail background – Plus point Preferred
    • GCC Experience - Preferred
    • Marketing Role Minimum of 3 years as Senior Product Manager / MM
