KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a multi-channel e-commerce strategic roadmap across both direct and indirect (E-Retailers/Tailers) for L’Oreal Luxe worldwide. With a specific focus on key regions & countries.

  • Drive innovation & pilot expansion areas in on-line retail opportunities through business case building and fact-based analysis, with strong collaboration from country teams

  • Work with in-country teams to ensure E-Commerce businesses are in line with brand’s positioning and objectives (including e-boutiques, e-retail and e-tail, mobile commerce, social commerce etc.) across:

    • Merchandising

    • Assortment & Pricing

    • Communications

    • Operating Model

    • End-to-End Customer Experience

  • Work with in-country teams to drive sales, ensure profitability and growth of the e-boutiques, e-retail / e-tail businesses

  • Review & enhance management & execution of all E-Commerce operations including

    • Store conversions

    • Functionality & UI enhancements,

    • Operational inefficiencies or gaps (e.g. logistics, customer service, vendors)

    • Cross & Up-selling across shopping experience including post-sale

    • Total costs of operations

  • Work with in-country teams and marketing teams to optimize traffic using all levers (media, search, social,  partnerships…) and ensure cross-channel synergies

  • Monitor the customer experience and purchase path to improve purchase rate (frequency, conversion, average order size) on all devices (web, mobile…) and leverage data to deploy & adapt the strategy

  • Support regional & in-country selection & management of external agencies and technical partners

  • Define, plan, lobby for & justify budget requirements to support Ecommerce growth

  • Work with IT team members and Global team members on E-Commerce platforms to represent the requirements from a Business perspective, prioritize them and monitor progress. Ensure they are aligned and can support the multi-channel E-Commerce strategy & ambitions.

  • Manage the proper external agencies and technical partners

  • Monitor & report E-Commerce business performance.

    RELATIONS

  • Partner closely with Digital & CRM teams across key country & regional teams
  • Partner closely with Global Brand Teams

CORE KPIs :

  • Growth of E-Commerce as a contributor to the total retail business & Market Share gain.

  • Growth of E-Commerce as a contributor to counters & physical store sales

  • Increased ROI realized across media, technology, production investments

  • Adoption by markets of Recommended Actions

CORE Skills & Experience:

      • 12 to 15 years experience in Multi-Channel E-Commerce Management

      • Previously managed Direct E-Commerce and Indirect (E-Retail/Tail) Businesses

      • Strong interpersonal skills

      • Equally comfortable co-developing a strategy & also implementing it with in-country teams day-to-day.

      • Comfortable in communicating with different nationalities & different cultures in English

      • Highly collaborative personality

      • Worked on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) or other Enterprise E-Commerce technology platform is a plus

      • Managed distribution partnerships with major E-Retailers/Tailers across US, Europe & Asia is a plus

      • International work experience in several geographical locations worldwide.
