Our teams within Corporate Services play a crucial role in supporting the business to deliver the Group’s strategic priorities such as Digital Transformation and our sustainability commitment Sharing Beauty with All. This area of our business provides expertise in Finance, Procurement, Legal, IT, Digital, Communications, HR and Scientific & Regulatory Affairs.

About the role

Our Finance function is seeking a Manager, Internal Risk to join their team. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, Australia & New Zealand you will be responsible for the implementation and management of L’Oreal’s global internal risk and control program for the Australian business. In this hands on standalone role you will also be responsible for:

  • Ensure a risk culture is embraced by staff at all levels of the organisation and they are aware of the fundamental principles of risk management
  • Strengthen the efficiency of processes for the identification and prevention of risks, contributing to the continuous and sustainable development of our activities
  • Formalise local procedures in line with legislation and the Group's standards integrating leading internal control practices
  • Regularly assess compliance of the entity's processes with L’Oreal’s global principles
  • Run together with the CFO, the annual review of the external auditors and  conduct internal audit processes.
  • Monitor the handling of weaknesses and non-compliance by managers and monitor the implementation of the corresponding action plans.

 About You

To be successful in this role, you will have strong risk management experience within a FMCG or multinational environment, previous experience within a big 4 firm along with a CA/CPA qualification will be highly regarded. A natural collaborator with you will be able to work with those around you to embed a risk mind-set. Possessing gravitas and strong communication skills you will be able to operate and influence at all levels of the business working in partnership with your key stakeholders.
