Job Title: Manager- Replenishment and Sales Analytics

This hybrid role will liaison between Wal-Mart’s Replenishment Team, L’Oreal’s Supply Chain and Customer Service Teams as well as L’Oreal’s Director of Sales. The individual will insure that objectives determined by L’Oreal and Wal-Mart are met. The role will primarily focus on collaboratively achieving and maintaining mutual L’Oreal and Wal-Mart key replenishment metrics (store and DC level in-stock, store on shelf availability, efficient and effective store and DC level inventory flow, forecast accuracy, and on time and in full deliveries) to support consumer demand. The individual will also have secondary focus on sales analytics with exposure to shopper insights, competitive landscape, and overall category trends.
Key Job Accountabilities:
-Create and maintain critical, collaborative relationship with Wal-Mart replenishment team to proactively adjust Wal-Mart’s GRS replenishment system to support: changes in consumer demand, address forecast accuracy needs, eliminate store and DC level out of stocks, and ensure promotional/event activity set up for executional success.
-Partner with internal order management, inventory management, and logistics teams to ensure weekly orders ship in full and deliver on time.
-Analyze Retail Link data to determine root causes, develop corrective plans, execute plan actions, and communicate qualitative and quantitative impacts/results to key Wal-Mart and L’Oreal stakeholders.
-Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting needs as required by Wal-Mart and L’Oreal.
-Initiate new items set ups with assistance from internal Sales and Data Sync partners. Consult with key Wal-Mart, L’Oreal Sales and Demand Planning stakeholders on initial launch store fill and weekly forecast needs. Manage Wal-Mart new item submission process and post item creation, replenishment focused follow ups such as initial forecast confirmation, store count validation, and GRS order generation.
-Consult with Sales Directors & VP of Sales on sales and inventory trends, cross functional priorities, as well as assist Sales Director & VP of Sales in developing and managing POS, shipment, and financial forecasts.
-Cross functional support with internal insights team will be required on a limited basis. Candidate will also have close contact with division management and other department staff, with exposure to senior levels of the division. This position will also provide the opportunity to help support opening new channels of trade for the ACD division.
A 4-year Bachelors Degree or a related 3+ years of supply chain or demand planning experience is required. Flexibility for minimal overnight travel for periodic business needs. Ability to analyze large amounts of data quickly and provide actionable recommendations. Strong Root Cause Analysis skills. Essential Skills Ability to Interact Effectively, positive attitude, results oriented, innovative, and adaptability in fast changing environment. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Business, Trade Math and application skills. Proficiency in account specific data retrieval software.
