Job Title: Education Manager of PRO Services – On-screen talent

Division: SkinCeuticals

Reports To: Assistant Vice President of Digital & Virtual Education

Location: Field Based

Summary: This role is designed to support our PRO TALK pillar and align to the vision of the Assistant Vice President of Digital Education. Manage the execution of PRO Live (live stream platform) as the on-air SkinCeuticals Expert. Must be an excellent speaker who relays information naturally, intelligently, and credibly with the goal of driving engagement and sales. This role requires a self-motivated person who researches, prepares, and provides a well-organized presentation. The ideal candidate must be authentic, engaging, and able to carry an audience with little to no interaction. Must be reliable, work with a flexible schedule and open to feedback. This person will also be subject but not limited to, supporting additional digital or virtual services such as; Virtual Seminar Trainings, Pro 1:1 Consults Instagram Lives, or any other initiative as business dictates. Must be able to provide succinct product recommendations and advisement that leads to increased brand awareness, advocacy, and revenue. A proven track record of experience in sales and aesthetics is a must to achieve brand goals.

 

PRO Live On-air host: Be the visual face-of-the-brand who is an expert in livestream education that drives sales, engagement, and brand credibility. 50% of role

 

  • Represent SkinCeuticals on live stream platform while delivering brand awareness and driving engagement
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify what products belong in each show offering
  • Suggest changes to build sales story and engaging presentation and additional shoppable products to enhance kit/story offering
  • Design script flow in accordance to Show offerings 
  • Create story for show flow. Know how to amplify the WHY behind kit(s) and how it will benefit the consumer
  • Defer to skinceuticals.com for most up to date legal language and reference of science and proof
  • Create carousel order for each product that ties to show script and creates fluidity in an easy shopping experience for consumer
  • Layer in moderator questions into script to increase consumer engagement 
  • Present to Marketing and Ecomm for additions
  • Be able to adapt to last minute script edits as needed based on product availability
  • Proficient in on-air presence needed (appropriate hair, makeup, wardrobe – all enhanced for show lighting)
  • Demo products accordingly; set up to seamlessly and apply/remove product with ease (tissues, wipes etc)
  • Arrange background and review with Marketing for positioning approval
  • Film 15 sec videos for Instagram story promo videos
  • Participate in post-show debriefs and identify wins and opportunities
  • Review recordings and chat log for insights to optimize
  • Discuss with Moderator Lead on how to optimize soundbites, poll questions and engagement to enhance future shows
  • Assist in leading of onboarding and training of Live scale to physicians*
  • CO-HOSTING: All above is applicable as well as the additional scope; create script for doctor and capture marketing’s soundbites. Train them on-camera best practices and tech needed to be successful
  • Participate in all tech rehearsals, planning meetings and debriefs as needed.

 

 

 

VIRTUAL SEMINARS & SPECIALIZED TRAINING 30% of role

 

  • Assists in delivering digital/virtual seminars, as needed, to support technical training initiatives.
  • Delivers excellent education via streaming services and exemplifies Skinceuticals branding displays and appropriate product positioning
  • Coordinates with Virtual Seminar Team Lead to deliver virtual trainings, as deemed necessary, with contractual strategic partners including Flagship accounts, National Account partners, Skin Labs and other high potential opportunities identified by the local sales professionals.

 

 

PRO 1:1: Work cohesively with team lead to ensure a best-in-class consumer experience during 1:1 video consultations. 20% of role

 

  • PRO 1:1 role is to provide 1:1 product consultation live via video connection to increase brand awareness, increase basket size and gain consumer loyalty
  • Perform live 1:1 video consultations with SkinCeuticals consumers via a web-based platform
  • Confidently and professionally make personalized skincare recommendations based on their skincare needs
  • Incorporate new product recommendations into a regimen combining their current products for a complete AM and PM regimen.
  • Discuss each product suggestion explaining the science behind and benefits of using that particular product, showing great care as to why those products are ideal for the consumer.
  • Demonstrate each product, showing application and discussing how this would fit into their current regimen
  • Educate consumers on the science, discuss ingredients & showcase what sets SkinCeuticals apart
  • Send a follow-up to consumer immediately post consultation recapping the suggestions and provide customized regimen card
  • Ensure all connected consumers are aware of new product launches and promotions
  • Provide feedback and report initial trends in inquiries to Director
  • Maintain company expectations related to basket size

 

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • May need to support other initiatives as business dictates. Subject but not limited to; PRO 1:1 Consults, Business Events, Instagram Lives, Masterclasses and support of Master Aesthetician Program
  • Ability to report weekly statistics and feedback to AVP of Digital & Virtual Education in reporting template
  • May need to travel up to 20% to Livestream from events or as business dictates
  • On-going education to be completed as dictated

 

EXPERIENCE / ABILITIES REQUIRED:

 

  • Must be licensed esthetician (license must be active)
  • Undergraduate degree a plus but not required
  • HSN/QVC experience desired but not required
  • Proven track record of sales in aesthetics or retail skincare
  • Experience in live streaming and proficiency in social media
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum 5-7 years hands-on aesthetic experience and/or luxe retail experience
  • Access to standard WiFi and professional workspace for live steaming
  • Must be able to multi-task successfully and work independently
  • Must be able to travel to training sessions, sales meetings or as business dictates
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Valid US driver’s license
