Preferred Work Experience / Background

The Manager should have 3-5 years of experience in Consumer Products Industry, including experience working with complex analyses in a dynamic environment.  Introductory level of understanding of retailer environment, trade spend as well as working with large complex data sets and reporting is required.  Success in working cross functionally and in Headquarters environment is a plus.

 

Preferred Education / Skills / Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business

Minimum of two years’ experience in CPG; Prior customer Finance experience a plus

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Advanced in Microsoft Excel

Proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all APEX management related to account for Total CPD including approving events, scrubbing projected spend, periodic audits of below threshold events, and ensuring proper accruals reflected for month end closing.
  • Responsible for deduction and post audit management, liaison with Supply Chain as well as Credit & Collections team to ensure current Accounts Receivable
  • Finance lead for Total CPD Walmart budget management including all customer allowances, markdowns and returns, responsible for forecasting timely risks & opportunities throughout the year in partnership with sales directors
  • Responsible for customer and category construction in PLC for all budgets and trends
  • Finance lead for Monthly P&L review with Sales team and commentary to NYO  
  • Finance lead for CPD Financial information requested by retailer, i.e. trade investment reporting
  • Participant in ad hoc analysis with Sales teams related to pricing, add-delete, potential promotional activity, and Post Event Analytics
