ROLE: 

 

The Product Marketing Manager is a key member of the SkinCeuticals US marketing team, liaising closely with sales, development/operations, digital, PR, medical relations, finance, education and training, and outside vendors in support of product launches and programs to drive the success of our domestic business. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter possessing a high level of energy, an entrepreneurial spirit, and demonstrated problem solving abilities.  Existing skincare knowledge or a high level of interest in this métier is key to success. 

 

The responsibilities of the marketing manager involve a variety of tasks that span channel marketing, launch and go-to-market planning, sales support, and special projects. The on-going accountabilities of this role are listed, but not limited to, the following:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

NEW PRODUCT LAUNCHES

  • Create and execute new product launch strategies across key distribution channels
  • Identify key marketing messaging and align through senior management
  • Ensure timely execution of all new product launch deliverables and marketing collateral to the channel

 

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

  • Develop and analyze business data, understand and begin to articulate category knowledge
  • Track, analyze and report on the impact of promotional and launch activities
  • Manage budget and spend on key activations
  • Contribute to drawing conclusions and business driving recommendations based on analysis


SALES SUPPORT

  • Develop close relationships with sales force to better understand their needs, drivers of success within the channel, anticipate business and product innovation trends
  • Help manage revolving AE panel from the sales force to ensure strong communication between sales and marketing
  • Lead delivery of promotional materials, product information, scientific abstracts, and other updated sales materials

 

PROMOTIONS and PROGRAMS

  • Identify new marketing opportunities to support the channel via promotions and programs through market and competitive analysis
  • Contribute ideas leading to the strategy behind promotions and programs
  • Drive the timely execution of all promotional support materials

 

 

NECESSARY SKILLS:

 

  • 3-5 years’ work experience in Marketing
  • Great project manager with strong cross-functional relationship management and keen ability to keep projects on track
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong time management skills and prioritization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills. This role requires regular presentations to Senior Management, including sales leaders, to deliver marketing messages precisely, persuasively, and effectively to present the state of the business and/or to accomplish business goals
  • Results-oriented team player
  • Strong appreciation of skincare métier and technologyTop of Form
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
