JOB PROFILECash to Accounting Lead

Assignments
  • Report to Cash to Accounting manager 
  • Operate as back-up of C2A manager or other Team leader when necessary
  • Manage a team of 3 to 10 people dedicated to a group of entities
  • Ensure accounting tasks allocated to the team are performed accurately and on time: bank reconciliation and Key Controls, Foreign exchange reporting, manual cash collection and payments, D2C reconciliation, KPI reporting,etc.
  • nteract with Accounts Payable and General Ledger teams in the spirit of end-to-end process implementation

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Management tasks for one group of entities
  • Manage a team dedicated to a group of entities
  • Ensure team members receive appropriate training and are comfortable with their role
  • Organize the team according to workload and availabilities (holidays planning)
  • Responsible for Treasury KPI and performance dashboards for the assigned entities and propose action plans when needed
  • Contribute to the preparation of and participate in governance and internal management meetings

Process for the assigned entities
  • Responsible for the delivery by the C2A team members of the processes framed by C2A manager i.e. accurately and in a timely manner and propose improvements
  • Manual cash collection and payments
  • Control manual cash collection postings
  • Payment proposal
  • Support the team in the follow-up of end-to-end payment workflows to ensure there is no blocking points
  • Bank reconciliation 
  • Ensure daily reconciliation is performed by the team and support them in the resolution of issues if needed
  • Ensure bank pending accounts are cleared by the team on a daily basis and support them in the resolution of issues if needed
  • Review monthly bank reconciliation prepared by the team
  • FX entries & reporting
  • Review FX closing postings and make sure they are on time
  • Retail and e-commerce
  • Ensure daily reconciliation is performed by the team and support them in the resolution of issues if needed
  • Validate cash collection dashboards prepared by the team and send to entities for validation

Quality
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures regarding treasury and propose improvements
  • Participate in the implementation of treasury projects and ensure team has enough time dedicated to projects when required by the C2A manager
  • Ensure continuous improvement and implement Group guidelines
  • Ensure strong segregation od duties and reduce risk of fraud
  • Ensure respect of legal requirements and service levels and quality as defined in the SLA/KPI
  • Participate in the definition, update and communication of treasury procedures and department organization documentation

Engagement
  • Travels to the different entities (customer relationship)
  • Shared Services industry knowledge (up-skilling on documentation, events)

COMPETENCES

Job
  • University level accounting/finance diploma (grado) level is Mandatory
  • Up to 8 years’ experience in Treasury/Accounting is appreciated
  • Experience in a multi-country and multi-currency structure appreciated
  • Good knowledge of accounting and treasury rules, IFRS standards and other regulations related to Treasury accounting
  • Good knowledge of treasury processes and internal control principles
  • Respects deadlines and manages priorities
  • Effective communication – comfortable in presenting and explaining results to several counterparts 
  • Ability to perform analyses regarding monthly, quarterly and annual reporting

Systems
  • SAP (Mandatory)
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Retail or e-commerce systems appreciated

Management 
  • SSC experience is appreciated
