KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Orchestrate the launches and push growth of pillar products using their own product, market and consumer expertise, to contribute to continued growth for the brand and the consumer relationship.

  • Strategy planning: guide brand development and manage portfolio priorities

  • Propose and monitor marketing mix strategies (IMC/Digital/Retail) to build integrated engaging consumer brand experiences

  • Implement new launches, maintain growth on pillar products and implement 360 animations

  • Advertising / Media: contribute to local adaptation of creative and drive media recommendation

  • Promotional activities / Trade Marketing : supervise plan with commercial

  • Market knowledge: Manage the collection and analysis of market data for the category and share findings with management and partners.

  • Consumer knowledge: listen to consumer feedback insights, analyse data and make recommendations to management

  • Ensure efficient relationships / interactions with other departments (commercial team, operational team, supply chain, business development, training etc)

  • Manage budgets and highlight issues

  • Manage PR & Digital in collaboration with Divisional colleagues

  • Manage the forecasting for your brands

  • Work closely with creative, media and other agencies to ensure all jobs are managed efficiently

  • Develop and manage Product Manager

  • Liaising with the international team in Paris

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • B Com, Advertising or IMM 3 year tertiary education (minimum)

    • Prior work experience in FMCG marketing, sales or advertising beneficial

    • Finance (P&L, price & PRI settings, sales forecast knowledge)

    • Knowledge of new media technologies with a strong focus on digital

    • Knowledge of products, market trends and consumers

    • Research data analysis

    • Knowledge of local Retail channel

    • Minimum 4 years’ experience at a similar level

    • Previous people management experience mandatory
