POSITION TITLE: Sr Manager - Supply Planning Analytics
DEPARTMENT: Corporate Supply Chain

As a member of the Corporate Supply Chain Data Science and Analytics Team, this role will support the long-term strategy, direction and vision of our End to End Supply Chain Team by developing and implementing business solution tools that create actionable insights and encouraging a data given culture. This role will work to develop and support harmonized tools and reporting across manufacturing locations and divisions to facilitate greater accessibility to information and drive decisions at all levels of the Supply Chain organization and L’Oreal Leadership teams. You will play a key role in the multi-year transversal Supply Chain transformation to improve performance of Supply Chain across North America.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Identify areas of opportunity to drive agility and reduce non-value work within Supply Chain by creating or enhancing tools and reports in areas such as forecast accuracy, E&O mitigation, catalog management, production planning, and service projections.
Design and document specifications for new use cases utilizing and enhancing the current best practices in the plants, divisions, and DGO and by gathering input from all stakeholders.
Represent the Supply Chain function in working with IT to develop BI data sources and define common KPI calculation and data rule definitions as well as update or eliminate legacy data and KPIs no longer in use.
Create data visualizations, such as PowerBI dashboards, to facilitate business decisions and root cause analysis.
Responsible for leading the roll-out of reports and tools within Supply Chain including testing, piloting, and training.
Become the business owner of the tools and reports within Supply Chain and serve as the subject matter expert including modifying them as business changes occur, reviewing user requests, incorporating enhancements and being responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of the information.
Foster change management through training, documentation and coaching.
Proactively drive change within the organization to improve data quality and accuracy in reporting.
Coordinate and participate in cross functional project teams, including serving as a liaison to the DGO and assist in L’USA rollouts of DGO policies and tools.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL BACK
Bachelor’s degree in business related field, preferably Supply Chain or Information Systems
5+ years Supply Chain experience preferably in CPG industry
Advanced Excel experience (pivot tables, databases, macros, etc.)
PowerBI dashboard creation experience
Experience in working with large data sets and conducting analysis
Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated strengths working across groups
Broad understanding of Supply Chain operations and supporting systems.
SAP (or other systems as applicable) and programming such as SQL and Python experience a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks and work independently
Ability to synthesize information and create a clear synopsis of key issues.
Excellent communication skills. Proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and our suppliers.
