We are seeking an experienced PMO
Coordinator with strong understanding of project governance and analysis, to
cover a period of maternity leave. Based in our International IT department in

and specialised Programme, Project, Portfolio Support alongside Financial Capex
Management assistance to the International IT Organisation ensuring that
relevant processes are adhered to, quality is maintained throughout and
required documentation and status updates are produced.

A Day in the Life:
- Reporting to the PMO Manager you
will propose and monitor the overall project planning, resource allocation,
governance activities and consolidated overviews for the tracking of IT
projects progress across International IT
- Through participating in defining
and implementing a portfolio of common processes, KPI’s, quality standards and
methodologies you will assist the PMO in improving Project Methodology and
governance across the IT Project Portfolio.
- Working collaboratively with
stakeholders across the International IT function and wider business, you will
support colleagues with Project Management standards ensuring quality
throughout the project lifecycle and provide analysis support across the
Project Portfolio as required
- You will support the creation and
maintenance of the International IT Capital Budget and assist with the capital
budget month end Finance, Recharge, Reconciliation & reporting processes.
- You will Support the IT Non-Trade
Purchasing Process through creation/receipt of IT Purchase Orders.
Do you fit the bill?
- You have demonstrable experience
of working within a PMO (Project Management Office / Portfolio Management
- You are highly organised,
disciplined and apply a process driven approach to work with the ability to
prioritise workloads and work with initiative
- You will have an understanding and
appreciation of Project Management Methodology, Project Governance and Business
- You have strong Excel skills and
are analytical and problem solving in your approach
- You may have previous experience
of using a Portfolio Resource Planning and scheduling system and in using
planning software such as Microsoft project.
You may also have used SAP which would be desirable
- You are developing an awareness
and appreciation of the requirements of Programme Management.
- You are familiar with the
financial controls applicable to an IT Department covering capital, re-charging
and purchasing areas.
- You have worked in a deadline
focussed environment and are able to perform under pressure
