What You Will Do:

In close partnership with Luxe brand and divisional partners, the Ecommerce Retail, VP will develop best-in-class strategy for the e-retail channel. This individual is co-responsible for the growth of the e-retail channel to $1B+ across the Luxe portfolio of brands, creation, optimization, and implementation of traffic drivers, site KPIs for measurement, and data collection. This leader will serve as the subject matter for e-retail performance, leveraging rigorous data and market analysis to shape strategy. This individual will partner closely with Acceleration Directors and National Account VPs in the development of sales strategy, cultivating a community of brand EKAMs, and creating a process for e-retail measurement. This individual will co-lead e-retail operations, ensuring best-in-class PDP, merchandising, and suite of reports for business measurement, and spearhead e-retail tech projects with cross-divisional partners.  This individual will identify opportunities through digital shelf insights, co-creating continuous optimizations for channel strategy. This individual will also use data to inform media investment, co-creating an e-retail media strategy that delivers against key media KPIs. We are looking for a consumer-focused, analytical marketing professional who is a skilled communicator and has a proven track record of leading through influence in a matrixed organization.

Job Duties and Accountabilities

Sales and Strategy:

  • Co-create Luxe Division Sales & SOM growth strategy with Acceleration Directors and National Accounts VPs, driving best practices, and scaling across brands.
  • Build standardized tools and KPIs for measurement (traffic drivers, site KPIs & data collection) and monitor and optimize across the channel.
  • Develop a community amongst brand EKAMs and assist them in executing e-retail brand and division strategy.
  • Facilitate brands adoption and execution of e-retail strategy.
  • Upskill brand leaders and commercial team members in digital education.

E-Retail Operations

  • Partner with the head of merch, Acceleration Directors, National Account VPs, Digital Tech, S&I, and Media to deliver optimized UX for all Luxe brands at each key retailer.
  • Accountable for delivering best-in-class PDP, Merchandising presentation, and suite of reports across all e-retail partners.

Media

  • Through Co-owned media w/ Luxe e-retail media lead, develop a best-in-class media strategy that can be scaled by brand, across each key account.
  • Leverage divisional (MMx) and 2P data to facilitate cross channel media investment, focusing on upper and lower funnel activations that deliver on media KPIs (views, ROAS, etc…)

E-Retail Tech

  • Serve as the voice of Luxe for CDMO e-retail Tech Project, aimed at building a state-of-the-art eComm analytics tech stack that empowers e-retail teams to drive execution at scale and efficiencies in O+O retailer connections.
  • Understand needs of the Luxe end user and the strategic decision making of the Business to generate the business requirements for the e-retail tech product.
  • Manage, communicate and act as primary liaison with Luxe end user community to drive awareness and adoption of the product and the transformation of ways of working.
  • Responsible for designing and provide business requirements for this transformation that reflects the Luxe business needs and represent the voice of the customer in the process.
 

Key Challenges, Issues and Complexity 

This role will require a balance of analytical thinking, communication skills and data management skills as it will require a demonstrated ability to develop consumer knowledge and insight and to act on the data in collaboration with internal brand & external account partners. It requires constant interaction within a matrixed business structure (Marketing, Ecommerce, GM, CDMO) to coordinate work and deliver objectives. Actively builds networks and becomes in-house expert on the account database to influence, convince, and introduce new ways of executing a variety of strategy. This position will require minimal supervision to maintain a proper corporate direction.

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 15+ years digital and/or ecommerce experience, preferably working in e-retail channel.
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to prioritize initiatives and anticipate business needs.

  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights and optimizations.
