This position is responsible for managing the order write for CVS using the retailer’s E3 and JDA system with the foremost objective of insuring DC inventory and service to stores is aligned with retailers’ expectations and providing the best shopping opportunity for CVS customers. This position is also responsible for supporting the work of the Account Supply Chain team, Customer Service and Field Sales in terms of initiatives with CVS. The individual will interact and partner with Customer Service and Sales, as well as have regular direct interaction with the CVS personnel.  Incumbent should possess analytical and technical abilities to effectively track & analyze large amounts of data and create regular reporting that leads to actionable insights that improve supply chain performance and efficiencies.

  • Required: BA/BS degree OR 3-4 years equivalent job experience, preferably in logistics or business.
  • Required: Strong Data Management skills and Microsoft Office Suite applications with an advanced focus in Excel and Access. SAP experience preferred. 

Incumbent should possess:

  • Direct experience with regular interaction/management of a retail customer
  • An understanding of relational data based concepts (using multiple data sources ) which result in insights leading to improved Supply Chain performance
  • Strong interpersonal skills- ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to derive and articulate insights and actionable recommendations from data analysis

Needed Certifications:  E3 and JDA

Judgment and decision making will be close to moderate. Supervision will be close to moderate.

 

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Write all CVS orders in E3 and JDA for specific businesses; manage item forecasts by DC.  Maintain order writing in compliance with CVS inventory goals and in accordance to the agreed upon specifications as determined by L’Oreal
  1. Attend weekly calls and other necessary meetings in order to understand the CVS, Supply Chain and Sales initiatives
  1. Review daily and weekly reporting from multiple sources to best manage orders and meet store and DC service goals.
  1. Build overall Supply Chain knowledge through interaction and training with Distribution, Transportation, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Inventory Management.
  1. In collaboration with multiple teams,  conduct and manage produce run-out, stop ship, seasonal, and launch orders as well as other functions to support the business
