Job Summary

Under general supervision, serves as a primary source of technical support and solutions to all Human Resource (HR) users in the utilization of HR Information Systems (HRIS) and applications. The position provides critical business analytics to HR professionals utilizing Business Objects reporting tool and SQL programming logic and has responsibility for the creation and ongoing maintenance of various reports, dashboards, and interfaces to and from our primary HR database (PeopleSoft).  May also provide training when needed for HRIS application users at all levels in all applications.

Key Job Accountabilities

-Manage incoming HR Reporting issues and requests simultaneously with ongoing Project assignments.

-Serve as HRIS Reporting Team expert, providing specific expertise in SQL, Business Objects Web and Desktop Intelligence tools.

-Create Analytics Dashboards for Executive Management to allow for strategic use of HR information

-Develop timely and accurate ad-hoc reports 

-Identify areas for improving data integrity and universe design

-Support various HR and HRIS SharePoint sites

Required Experience

-BA/BS in Management Information Systems or related field.

-1-2 years’ experience in related field

-Demonstrated SQL Query Writing including use of complex joins, unions, and case statements. 

-Previous Hands-On Report writing experience in a Human Resources environment is desired. 

-Knowledge of report writing applications

-Knowledge of hardware, software, networking and telecommunications.

-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite of applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.) SharePoint knowledge an extreme plus.

-Demonstrates excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills at all levels. Must be able to communicate with technical and non-technical users.

Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.

This position is EXEMPT under FLSA, and is not eligible for overtime in accordance with FLSA regulations.
