KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

To reinforce L’Oréal R&I image of excellence at the local level

To contribute to L’Oréal Group’s reputation in the field of Innovation

 

 

  • Implement  the 360° external communication plan in line with the Asia R&I strategy:

  • Define communication plans for local stakeholders (science, business, NGOs, press, authorities, providers, consumers) and implement integrated communication on major events: congresses, innovation launches, partnerships, exhibitions, awards,…

  • Manage media relations, including new media:  identify key publications/journalists

 

  • Take part in the definition of the Asia corporate communication strategy: innovation, excellence, pioneer

 

  • Support and advise the key R&I experts with regard to corporate scientific communication topics:

  • Prepare for interviews (including media-training). Advise for internal and external speeches

  • Provide constant monitoring of R&I exposure to the press, NGOs, KOL

 

  • Relay corporate R&I Communication for the Asian hub:

  • Develop internal communication tools / major events to be deployed

     

  • Support Crisis and Issues Management:

  • Prepare potential responses

     

     

  • Budget reporting

  • Visibility, R&I reputation with Corporate communication team

  • Quality of the interviews, internal and external speeches - Quality of the preparation (key messages, Q&A…)

  • Image & visibility of principal R&I experts

  • Information cascading

  • Implementation of international recommendations in the zone

     

 

 

 

 

 

 

TECHNICAL & PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

 

 

  • Good scientific background or strong interest for science and innovation

  • Strong understanding of business / R&I stakes and knowledge of key stakeholders

  • Editorial and excellent oral communication skills

  • Mastery of content development for all supports: print, pictures, video …

  • Good knowledge of media relations management:

    • Communication supports

    • Digital and social media

  • Fluent in English ( Chinese a plus)

  • Familiar with search engines
