This role is centred around proactively assisting the Commercial Controller to ensure adherence to key internal controls and to manage the commercial payment cycle. This is an exciting opportunity for a new Graduate or somebody with a financial background: We are looking for a high performing individual to assist the Sales Team in maximising profitable sales opportunities and the Commercial Controller in monitoring the commercial P&L evolution in order to promote optimal decision making within the business.



 

What are key highlights of this role?

 

  • Clear commercial debt conforming to internal control procedures
  • Ensure sales teams comply with promotional accrual processes and raise provisions using SAP
  • Report provision balances to sales teams on a regular basis
  • Assist Commercial Controller / Sales teams with the preparation of account P&Ls and their interpretation
  • Preparation of key commercial reports
  • Ad hoc projects to improve controls / reporting

 

 

Preferred qualifications/experience:


  • Degree Qualification – Ideal candidate will want to pursue (or working towards) a professional accountancy qualification e.g. CIMA
  • High level of competence with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Outstanding rigour and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential as the role involves close liaison with the Sales team
  • The candidate should have an interest in studying for the CIMA qualification.
