Title: Assistant Manager- Sales Planning (L'Oreal Paris)

Location: NYO - Hudson Yards

Provide support and assistance to the National Sales Planners for the Cosmetics / Skincare categories in developing and executing the National Sales Strategy, as well as, the following;  assisting in the creation and ownership of selling materials of the 4 P’s, Sales Planning administrative work, and communication of Sales Planning materials to the field. 

Definition of Role:

•Communicator of all sales planning material to field
Provide support to National Sales Planner's as needed
•Main source of support for NSP
•Owner of national sales planning administrative work

Roles and Responsibilities:

Recommended Skill Set

•Communicate necessary materials to field, including
-Synchronization of category selling materials
-Maintain integrity of field based documents for brand success
-Publish promo guidelines and selling materials for new and promo items
-Oversee publishing of BDP decks and updates
•Own tracking of sales planning metrics
-Presentation Comps
-Plannogram Comps
•Provide leverage to NSP on key responsibilities
-Report hosting
-Master Spec sheets
-SKU rationalization/justification
•Oversee and Participate in NACDS + ECRM event logistics
-Oversee details of NACDS & ECRM events and materials
•Necessary meeting participation
-Add/delete process
-Special pack admin conference calls
•Undergraduate degree in Marketing or related business field (MBA a plus)
•Minimum of 3+ years of experience, preferably in CPG industry and shopper marketing, customer marketing, brand marketing, or sales functions
•Strong ability to communicate (orally and in writing) complex information to  many internal audiences with differing levels of knowledge
-Lead communications between HQ and the field
•Strong working knowledge of consumer package goods industry
•Working understanding of promotional tactics
•Highly organized with excellent planning ability
•Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP, Event Management – Launch workbench & Field Sales Management

Performance Indicators:

•On-time delivery of sales communication materials
•Timeline and process management
