Key Job Accountabilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to 3PL (as necessary) to ensure best in class warehouse and transportation service delivery
  • Identify service and cost improvement opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with 3PL staff
  • Manage, track and report transportation and warehousing costs
  • Facilitate problem resolution regarding order fulfillment, delivery of products to stores and other business issues
  • Collaborate with customers, internal business partners and other stakeholders to identify customer requirements, assess impact/scope, compare costs and benefits, recommend solutions and manage a project/task through completion
  • Monitor 3PL to ensure that KPI’s are met.  Take remedial action with 3PL in the event of poor performance
  • Communicate existing or potential service problems to the appropriate personnel
  • Monitor warehouse on hand inventory accuracy to ensure the right products are in the right locations to fulfill store orders timely and accurately
  • Establish guidelines for inventory accuracy including cycle counting and full physical inventories

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Degree holder with at least 5 years’ experience in related function. Candidate with high qualification would be considered with managerial role. 
  • Retail operations and 3PL working experience are preferred
  • Detail-oriented, sensitive to numbers, good problem solving skills and contingency planning
  • Well organized, strong sense of responsibility and able to work under pressure
  • Able to influence others and drive changes in multi-cultural environment
