  • Sound understanding of the Indian market & business context
  • Ability to join the dots – uses data from multiple primary and secondary sources to generate/ validate hypothesis required as part of the Development Process
  • Digitally savvy & active
  • Moderation/ Workshop-ping skills
  • Good Presentation skills

SUPPORTS INNOVATION

  • Delves into past studies & secondary data sources to collect, compare and synthesize market & consumer data relevant to the project & category (consumer, markets, competition, country, digital…). Garners the data required to support innovation projects by validating hypothesis and generating new insights based on the same.
  • Effectively prepares clear messages to present to senior management

REGIONAL MARKET & CONSUMER DATA

  • Liases between the Regional CMIs across our key markets – both Business & R&I - in order to collate & analyse Market & Consumer data across the region.

CONSUMER STUDIES: QUAL & QUANT

  • Initiates & leads consumer studies required to support the development process
  • Handles the design/methodology for these studies with the Research Agency
  • Oversees fieldwork for the same
  • Works closely with Research Agency on analysis and reporting of these studies
  • Presents the learnings and strategic implications to key stakeholders within R&I

MARKETING MAPPING & CONSUMER TRENDS

  • Monitors & Analyzes competitive activity
  • Monitor consumer trends
  • Works closely with Mintel to mine their data and generate development opportunities stemming therefrom

OPEN LABS/ WORK SHOP-PING

  • Orchestrates the Open Labs process & facilitates cross functional ideation as part of the product development process
  • Collates, synthesizes and circulates the outcome thereof to key stakeholders in order to facilitate development
