The role:


Kiehl's is seeking a seasoned, highly motivated Communications Manager to shape the future success of our brand within the new Digital Engagement and Communications (DEC) team structure. Your role is to drive Brand LOVE KPIs across print, digital and social influencers, drive our eventing calendar and play an active role in shaping brand partnerships and any consumer-facing executions to maximize earned media and improve brand reputation.


 

Key elements to your role:

 

1. Print & Digital press

  • Develop PR/comms strategy to maximize organic social, online and offline coverage to reach and recruit our target audience
  • Identify and foster long-term personal relationships with VIPs, influencers and journalists, with a focus on editors from premium fashion/lifestyle titles, including men’s titles
  • Work alongside our central communications team in New York (DMI) in maximizing coverage around new product launches and collaborations within UK press
  • Develop highly creative executions for monthly product mailouts to press/influencers and continuously refine our influencer list
  • Foster relationships with key stylists/make-up artists
  • Cultivate our formal and informal brand ambassadors to maximize relevancy and improved positioning for the brand

 

2. Eventing and press days

  • Ownership of eventing strategy for Kiehls, including VIP/influencer events and press days
  • Input on all consumer activations and executions to protect brand reputation
  • Maximize content generation from influencer eventing


3. Content & Digital

  • End-to-end campaign management of content collaborations with media partners and top influencers


4. Brand

  • Work alongside marketing in securing brand a& lifestyle partnerships that maximize earned media and elevate the brand
  • Proactively source relevant UK opportunities to drive awareness and engagement around our key brand pillars e.g. Kiehl's Rocks music alignments, Kiehl's Cares philanthropic efforts



Who we’re looking for:

 

Alongside experience in a similar role you should be confident demonstrating all of the following:

 

  • Highly creative and pro-active
  • Excellent senior beauty, social, celebrity, news, picture desk and influencer contacts
  • A passion for skincare and beauty, with expertise in the field
  • Experience in luxury brands highly valuable
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Exemplary writing, editing, networking, and event management skills
  • Proven ability to pitch and negotiate product features
  • Multi-tasking and highly organized with  meticulous attention to detail
