What are key highlights of this role?


As the Digital Engagement & Communications Executive you will report into the Digital Engagement & Communications Manager. As part of your role you will be able to quickly build strong relationships with internal and external clients and be the first point of contact for all media related queries for your brand. You will also be able to think outside the box.

What are the key duties of this role?

You will be responsible for:

  • ·         Driving earned media coverage results across print, digital and influencer media channels.
  • ·         Creative innovation for event activations and press mailers.
  • ·         Building a dynamic network of media and influencer contacts across all channels.
  • ·         Respond to daily media enquiries and requests in a timely manner.
  • ·         Creating press materials across all brands.
  • ·         Manage and execute the regional PR strategy.
  • ·         Support the Communications Manager in building and executing a 360 earned media strategy.
  • ·         Manage the recruitment of new influencers as brand advocates leveraging all in-house tools provided.
  • ·         Creating monthly media reports that showcase the brand performance across all owned channels.
  • ·         Management of all brand product stock and branded materials.
  • ·         Social listening and reporting.
  • ·         Building relationships with key stakeholders in the salon network.
  • ·         Event support and logistics.


What key skills are L’Oréal looking for?


  • ·         Previous experience in consumer beauty PR – hair care and professional brands are an advantage
  • ·         Strong planning and organisation skills – with an ability to appropriately re-prioritise and change as required to meet deadlines.
  • ·         Solutions orientated mindset with the ability to work accurately at pace and cope with ambiguity.

  • ·         Articulate with an innate attention to detail.
  • ·         Natural creative flair – and ‘ideas person’.
  • ·         Works with initiative and acutely proactive.
  • ·         Excellent communication and influencing skills with experience of building relationships internally and externally.
  • ·         Strong media contacts across consumer print, digital and influencer – men’s and trade are an advantage.
  • ·         Is risk aware and builds contingency into plans.
