Job Title: Digital Intern, eBusiness

The L’Oreal Active Cosmetics Division (ACD) is looking for a passionate, bright and energetic candidate to join the eBusiness team arm as a Digital Intern. This role will be responsible for digital communication, sales, product education, media, analytics and reporting for the brands La Roche-Posay, Vichy and Dermablend on Given acceleration in the eCommerce business, this role will be critical to identifying strategic priorities to grow the Amazon sales and market share, to optimize in-season management of the business and to improve the customer experience and conversion.

Candidate must be outgoing, have strong analytical, writing, research and communication skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage internal and external resources to successfully bring projects to life.

This position reports to the Manager of eBusiness.


Overall Responsibilities

Overall business support:

  • Work closely with cross functional teams such as sales, marketing, brands, operations, supply chain and customer service to ensure digital strategy is being executed and optimized

Product launches and catalog management:

  • Complete paperwork for new launches and business drivers in multiple formats to fit our customers’ needs
  • Reconcile tracking and order processing and provide updates to customer and internal teams
  • Connect with multiple teams to ensure our catalog information is up to do date
  • Manage launches and deletes calendar and ensure timely execution

Promotional planning and execution:

  • Monitor promotional activity across all online partners and document for ACD placements as well as competitive activity
  • Oversee website partner updates are completed to display new products, new content and promotional support
  • Flag price updates, out of stock, product discontinuations and product placements and send reporting to internal and external teams

Analysis and reporting:

  • Run multiple weekly, monthly and ad hock sales reports and share data with internal teams
  • Run weekly inventory and stock reports and flag over stock and under stock information

Project support and execution:

  • Product mailers, PR boxes and samples
  • Set-up form completion
  • Support with building best in class product pages
  • Influencer program execution
  • Place product and sample orders as needed
  • Create gift bags when needed
  • Other related projects as needed


  • Proactive and results oriented thinker who would flourish in an entrepreneurial environment where new ideas are championed
  • Strong understanding of the Digital Media and Beauty Industry
  • Experience in a digital, marketing, strategy or analytics-focused role
  • Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables and vlookup) and data analysis, PowerPoint and ability to create high impact presentations
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Communicates clearly and succinctly in both oral and written forms
  • Demonstrated interest and enthusiasm for the marketing, communications and digital fields
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
