L’Oreal USA is looking for an eCommerce Analytics Intern to support the Active Cosmetics Division which includes La Roche-Posay, Vichy, Dermablend, SkinCeuticals, CeraVe, and AcneFree. The role is responsible for reporting and analytics for eCommerce, including establishing KPIs and standardized reports. This position will play a key role in identifying key insights with supporting data for existing initiatives, as well as utilizing data-driven recommendations to support growth in our CRM strategy. This is a key role that is one of the cornerstones of our company’s long-term vision and strategy. Among key success benchmarks for this role is to impact various metrics and generally provide a more relevant experience to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CRM metrics including email marketing, mobile marketing and web marketing. This role will report directly into the VP of Ecommerce & Digital Marketing

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Analytics:

  • Own all website metrics tracking for internal corporate reporting purposes
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses and design analytical initiatives that drive engagement and monetization
  • Distribute monthly eCommerce & Website performance reports for La Roche-Posay, Vichy, Dermablend, SkinCeuticals, CeraVe, and AcneFree
  • Manage all vendor purchase order setup, invoice tracking and reconciliation
  • Manage promotional budget calendars and actualize budget trends
  • Stay abreast of web analytics trends and best practices

Admin:

  • Admin support of VPs Calendar
  • Shadow VP in key meetings to capture relevant notes and follow-ups

SKILLS

  • Highly analytical individual with excellent understanding of data management and ability to use Excel to organize data, create reports, and deliver meaningful insights & recommendations
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing tactics (PPC, SEO, Display etc.) and metrics
  • Experience in an eCommerce CMS (Salesforce Commerce Cloud / Demandware experience is a plus)
  • Experience with a CRM System (Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Exact Target experience is a plus)
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Coremetrics or other similar business intelligence tools
  • Excellent written, analytical and communication skills
  • Excellent project and time management skills; ability to effectively multi-task in deadline-oriented environment

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have graduated within the past 12 months
  • Exposure to beauty/lifestyle and/or luxury/fashion retail a plus
  • Very advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Excel. Strong skills in PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical discipline with related work experience in digital and data analysis, ideally with previous experience in an agency setting
