We seek a Director of Ecommerce, Site Experience to help continue the aggressive growth of the IT Cosmetics ecommerce business and own the customer website experience of You will manage the execution of business & merchandising strategies to grow sales and profits, and utilize a range of web and ecommerce analytics to develop a deep understanding of our IT Girls and brand.

You’re highly organized, thrive on problem solving, innovating, and juggling a variety of tasks and responsibilities.

Position will report directly to the Vice President, Digital Commerce.

Please note: this position is located in Newport, Jersey City within a short distance of Manhattan.


  • Ensure a best-in-class customer experience working with the VP of Digital Commerce on strategic planning and execution of tactics for and the ecommerce business.

  • Site Merchandising and relevant story telling.

  • Oversee the customer experience including brand content, site architecture, and navigation.

  • Partner with Demand planner on inventory management and forecasting.

  • Identify business needs and requirements for new and existing website features to drive sales, and enhance customer experience, collaborating with Brand Marketing, Creative, Customer Service, Developers, and Ecommerce colleagues.

  • Manage requests for site assets and content by partnering with brand marketing, creative and project management.

  • Mentor ecommerce team members, strengthening business acumen, ecommerce expertise, and leveraging best practices in running an ecommerce business.

  • Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans to support monthly sales goals.
  • Plan and execute promotional and new product campaigns.
  • Outstanding analytical skills, with strong experience interpreting test results & drawing conclusions.
  • Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives.
  • Serve as a brand leader and IT Girl customer advocate.


  • 7+ years ecommerce experienced focused on customer experience, at least 3-5 years in a management capacity

  • Hands on experience planning and managing a digital site experience to support new and existing traffic.
  • Experience with understanding and converting various traffic sources (Paid Search, SEO, Affiliate Marketing, Display/Remarketing, and partnerships).
  • Deep knowledge of Excel and range of analytics tools specifically Google Analytics, and working knowledge of analytics suites such as IBM Coremetrics, Adobe Analytics (formerly Omniture), Adtech networks, and various 3rd party media platforms.

  • Passionate about marketing; you are continuously a student of your industry, pursuing knowledge, best practices, competitive landscape and staying on top of trends.
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Should be comfortable within a fluid and fast paced environment
  • Experience with B2C luxury brands. Beauty preferred.
  • Experienced with working with technical development teams.
  • Undergraduate degree required.
