What are key highlights of this role?


The mission of the Payroll Cost function is to budget and forecast for over £110m of employment costs. This role will be to assist the HR Cost Controller to build and model those forecasts and to perform variance analysis. Additionally there is the opportunity to assist the Rewards team providing vital data analysis to our Reward Advisers around compensation, benefits and international matters.



What are the key duties of this role?


You will be involved in a range of activities which may include the following:

 

Employement Cost Forecasting

  • Work closely with the HR cost controller, HR Directors and Finance to interpret and input change information from the HR Directors
  • Provide vital analysis including the use of pivot tables and variance analysis files to review the current forecast and how this compares with the budget.
  • Understanding how costs such as national insurance, pension, bonus, profit share, commission interact to form the total pay package


Rewards

  • Work closely with the Reward Advisers to provide analysis of the annual salary review, yearly bonus payments, yearly profit share payments, benefit schemes
  • Build a HR Dashboard that can be used by HR Directors to present to their brands.


HRIS

·         Work closely with the HR Information systems specialist to assist in maintaining the different systems ensuring integrity between the source data and the payroll system to ensure employees are correctly paid
