Job Summary: This position is part of the management development program. 


This position is responsible for analyzing and managing complete catalogue of SKU’s to ensure life cycle is adhered to, ensuring out of catalogue SKU’s are converted to active SKU’s while maintaining pick location capacity within the distribution center. This role is also responsible for project management in the areas of safety, layout / design, process improvement, and any other assigned by AVP. This position requires frequent interaction with the MSL, Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Inventory Management and Customer Service to resolve issues.  Project management requires frequent interaction with outside vendors, EHS, operations, and finance.


Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
  • Intermediate to advanced data analytic skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Microsoft Access beneficial; PowerPoint.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in SAP.
  • Intermediate skills with Auto-CAD
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and influence functional groups.
  • Ability to engage in healthy conflict, effectively problem solve within a team environment, and demonstrate resiliency.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and meet commitments.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Demonstrates commitment to internal and external customer service.


Judgment and Decision Making:


Intermittent supervision required. Decisions made by this position have a direct and high level of impact on service level to internal and external Customers, on ability to achieve monthly revenue and inventory reduction objectives, on the execution of new product launches and product promotions, and on the operational efficiency of Customer Service, Distribution, Transportation, and Assembly.

1. Support divisional cost control in relation to inventory by executing and maintaining SKU version management system within the DC allowing increased pick location capacity to support picking efficiencies, launch programs, E&O, and storage capacity.





2. Conduct detailed analyses utilizing in regards to:

  • Project Justification
  • Process improvement
  • Safety enhancements
  • CER Spend






3.  Manage and execute various projects by managing and facilitating required meetings and communications, communicating challenges and unexpected delays, ensuring adherence to all EHS guidelines while supporting and maintaining expected level of service for existing business.  Project can include:

  • Safety
  • Process Improvements
  • CER’s
  • Layout / Design
  • Other as assigned by AVP




4. Lead a variety of operational related meetings

  • Provide operational perspective as required
