Responsibilities and main missions:

 

  • The Demandware project manager will be responsible of the implementation, for a dedicated list of brands, of the Demandware ecommerce CORE solution, in Western and Eastern Europe, Africa and in the Middle East.
  • Position requires strong technical background and hands on experience on Demandware or similar eCommerce Platforms,
  • Close working relationships with business partners, external strategic partners, hub IT teams, Demandware Competence Center and the Digital EMEA IT Director

 

Key job accountabilities:

 

  • Rollout project management (both localization of a brand CORE solution or development of a complete storefront solution for a local project) 
  • External vendors management (EMEA integrator, Link Partners, specific suppliers)
  • Countries Demand management (estimates, business facing)
  • Roadmap definition and updates
  • Rollout Methodology definition (Tools, best practice, localization kit..)
  • Rollout budget management, SOW management, and cost model definition
  • Regular communication, Steering committee setup
  • Support Change management
  • Technical Expertise on the chosen solutions
  • Liaise with Demandware Competence Center for functional and technical content and evolutions
  • Liaise with the local IT (back office), Global IT, CDO  and business digital teams
  • Anticipate and adjust the right organization, internal or external  to address the domain and projects

Experience and expected qualities:

 

  • 3-5+ years of experience with managing ecommerce rollout projects, including, catalog management,  payment, shipping, ratings & review, personalization, syndication, CRM, social login  and cookie management  topics
  • Significant project management experience with a deep understanding of project and process design, methodology and tools
  • Back office flows, OMS and  an order to cash integration
  • PIM and CRM integration
  • Ability to coordinate and work in multiple simultaneous projects
  • Team work in a multinational environment
  • Ability to track and report status to IT management and business partners
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Have a customer focused attitude
  • Strong IT vendor management expertise is a must.
  • Strong organizational, time management, communication, process orientation and problem-solving skills with multiple clients/vendors/projects.
  • Experience in analysis and documentation of technical requirements for ecommerce projects
  • Technology Assessment and Evaluation Skills.
  • Experience in cosmetic/FMCG/retail industry is preferred
  • Business analysis & ROI skills.
  • People management experience a plus
  • Fluent English. French is a plus.

 

Technical skills:


  • Demandware or any other major ecommerce platform (Magento,, Hybris, CommerceOne)
  • Monitoring Tools (Selenium, Iplabel, Keynote,…)
  • Systems integration ETL, Web service (REST, SOAP), Batch, EDI, SFTP.
  • SAP implementation and/or support experience is a plus.
  • Agile methodology knowledge is a plus
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript,
  • Analytics - Google Analytics Premium, Omniture, Coremetrics, GWMT.
  • SEO best practice and follow up
  • Exposure to mobile, Omni –channel technology tools and principles around responsive design, hybrid applications, mobile applications.
  • Cross-Browser testing / functionality
  • Ticketing tools, JIRA, Mantis
  • Microsoft Office applications -- Office Suite (Project, PowerPoint , Excel, Word), Visio and Project
