What will you achieve?

You will get hands-on experience of the inner workings of a successful, market-leading beauty company, as you collaborate and learn from some of the most passionate, intelligent and creative people around! Many of our leaders are L'Oreal babies who started with the Group as an Intern and progressed through the Management Trainee program.

Internship period: 1 July 2018 - 13 January 2019 (6 Months)

What are we looking for?

Are you good at planning logistics and process management? Do you often spot opportunities to reduce wastage and make processes more efficient? Are you good with analyzing complex data?

We are looking to hire Operations Interns who enjoy seeking out the most agile, innovative, efficient and responsible solutions to meet the needs of our consumers, for our L'Oreal Singapore Operations team and the APAC Consumer Products Division team. 

In a nutshell, key responsibilities of this role:

  • Support either the Supply Chain team or Order Processing team in ensuring efficient logistics flow across the countries represented
  • Design and execute process management initiatives with Purchasing team to enhance efficiency
  • Liaise with suppliers and external partners (including warehouse partners and vendors) / country operations representatives as point of contact for regional hub
  • Run wastage reduction projects / data analysis projects that aim at improvement of logistics flows

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Analytical, sharp, innovative, creative, has a knack for project management
  • Proficient in Excel skills, hands-on experience with Macros and VBA is a PLUS
  • Strong communication skills as you will be working with colleagues from across teams
  • Outgoing personality, high energy level to keep up with pace and intensity
  • Independent worker and able to deliver within tight timelines
  • Good sense of initiative and strong in follow-up skills
