NATIONAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – CHAINS

GIORGIO ARMANI


As a National Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving retail sell-out and growing market share for the Giorgio Armani brand within your portfolio of customers both in store and online; and supporting the SNAM on the overall Chains strategy.

You will take ownership for shaping your retailer strategy, managing the P&L and building strong relationships with your key contacts, creating persuasive commercial arguments to drive the business forward. Your role is retail centric with 50% of your time being externally focused (20% client facing and 30% on retail centric planning and execution).  The remainder of your remit is to own sell-in and retail forecasting, be the interface with cross functions to deliver the best commercial outcome for your accounts.


You will:


• Be building credible and collaborative working relationships with your customer / cross functional contacts
• Develop retailer centric strategies for your channel; identify joint objectives and build business plans for mutual growth
• Influence future retailer initiatives and collaborations; ensuring the brand maximizes all available opportunities in store and online
• Manage all lines of the P&L from retail sell out to sell in to ensure delivery on/above target for your retailer
• Proactively create and manage your retailer budgets sell in and sell out forecast; identifying risks and opportunities and building contingency plans where necessary 
• Support Chains SNAM with wider analysis and activities to shape overall Chains strategy

• Lead seasonal executions and ROI for all Chains accounts

You are:

• Educated to degree level
• Highly numerate with solid commercial acumen
• Strong negotiator & look for a win-win opportunities with our retail partners
• Aptitude for analysis – Ability to identify opportunities to drive retail growth and build convincing cases
• Highly organised with prioritisation skills
• Experienced in a premium or retail environment and can demonstrate commercial knowledge of luxury market levers

You have:

• Strong Communication skills – written and verbal
• Excellent presentation skills with attention to detail for creating visually impactful presentations
• Strong influencing skills – you will be required to demonstrate thought leadership as well as drive to execution 
• Experience in a fast paced sales / retail environment
