Title:Manager, Accounting

Location: FL

Summary:

  • Manage close schedule and calendar issued by central team
  • Manage monthly accounting analysis, JE’s and reconciliations prepared by team
  • Responsible for maintenance, production and reconciliation of SAP KE30’s
  • Manage JE’s and process for to support  LUSA and Canada
  • Responsible for management and review of the various affaires or plant balance sheets
  • Responsible for review of BS books

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manages staff and workload to ensure accuracy and that closings adhere to central team deadlines          
  • Analysis and reviews of monthly journal entries, activity in balance sheet accounts, monthly consolidated financial statements
  • Provides guidance and follow-up for problems, issues, etc. with SAP KE 30 P&L’s          
  • Reviews and manages the balance sheet review books issued by team
  • Improve policies and procedures for recording new and/or existing transactions
  • Responsible for work on acquisitions, restructurings and other special projects
  • Must be an excellent manager and have the ability to manage a large team providing support to a remote organization

Role Requirements: 

  • BA/BS in Accounting or related degree required
  • 7-15 years of related work experience required
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Must be able to lead, manage, and motivate a diverse professional staff
  • Must be proficient in SAP
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills; business acumen; leadership skills; oral and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment (NJ/NY/FL 5%)
