Title: Manager – CRM; Marketing Cloud Lead

Brief Job Description:

In this role, you will be the expert, advisor, and owner of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Exact Target).  Your deep understanding of SFMC will help you deploy quick solutions or to manage 3rd party executed projects while approving architecture and approach.  The day to day responsibilities include Salesforce Marketing Cloud operations and support across all L’Oreal USA brands.  This role is both hands on and managerial in nature.  You will have the autonomy to partner with brand leads to outline requirements, develop/architect solutions, deliver, and plan.

We are looking for technical and business savvy individuals with a curiosity to learn new technologies and best practice.  Successful candidates will know SFMC, and are comfortable in business analyst, developer, and solution architect roles.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal users to analyze technology needs and functional requirements. Deliver the following artifacts as needed: Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Use Cases, etc. 
  • Elicit requirements from end-users, document analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
  • Work independently with users to define concepts and partner with CRM managers/architects/vendor partners to support development efforts
  • Drive and challenge brands on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
  • Serves as the conduit between the customer community and the software development teams in the area of CRM systems through which requirements flow.
  • Create/manage email campaigns, templates, data interactions, and journeys within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Integrate e-commerce and e-marketing platforms with SFMC – including identifying key data points, and setting up data file imports and API calls

Core Competencies/Professional Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of technical experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • IT vendor management expertise is a plus.
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal business teams, at different levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational, time management, communication, process orientation and problem-solving skills with multiple clients/vendors/projects.
  • Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is a must
  • Experience in analysis and documentation of technical requirements.

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Technical/Professional Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (specifically ExactTarget) is required.

  • Experience integrating with eCommerce driven data is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Postman or other API testing tools desired
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Analytics - Coremetrics, Google Analytics, Omniture.
  • Microsoft Office applications -- Office Suite (Project, PowerPoint , Excel, Word), Visio and Project
  • Experience with Jira/Confluence a plus
