Job Description:  Vichy Brand Manager

Reports to:  Head of Brand, Vichy


  • Develop and execute marketing plans for key Vichy skincare and cosmetic franchises and retailers, localize all new product launches for designated franchises and lead in-store strategy and promotional planning and execution with sales and account teams


  • Work with international marketing team to adapt the globally recommended skincare mx to fully address the needs of the US market. Will be responsible for concept development for U.S. specific products- identifying unique and compelling claims, interpreting clinical results, benchmarking vs competition and crafting product USP
  • Develop and execute all 360 Marketing Plans for designated product franchise – including digital media and advertising, samples, promotional kits, in-store events, educational materials, social media activation and public relations  and industry placements
  • Create and lead the launch of all new products for designated product franchise including customizing claims from international to US approved claims with R&I, developing the US specific artwork, and creating/securing all assets and creative images
  • Provide all reporting and analytics on product franchises and opportunities to grow the business
  • Serve as the primary liaison with customer marketing and sales for designated retailers- Amazon (incl. e-tailers), Ulta & Target- TBD
  • Collaborate on the retailer strategy with Head of Brand
  • Manage existing franchises (and brand) on day-to-day business –including forecasting, competitive analysis, consumer insights
  • Build, drive and analyze promotional bundling opportunities for designated strategic retailers

Brand/Product Management Responsibilities 

  • Develop and recommend product testing and validation plan for all new product launches and recommendations, including quantitative and qualitative testing – concept development, claims testing, name validation, product performance and evaluation
  • Understand the competitive landscape including product claims, go-to-market plans, and market share
  • Develop and execute US specific packaging - including working with international and US R&I/claims/legal on claims validation, approving or proposing artwork, collaborate with Canada on all US/Canadian artowrks
  • Develop all in-store promotional materials associated with delegated franchises – including promotional bundles, collateral for events, event kits, samples, coupons, etc.
  • Create and brainstorm traditional and nontraditional ways to market  and promote bases business franchises with limited budgets
  • Lead the 360 planning for all new launches
  • Collaborate on the digital media strategy and execute all digital media briefs and advertising assets for designated franchises and retailers
  • Lead development of all in-store displays –including creative briefs with designer, collaboration with sales account liaison, final specs with promotional/purchasing teams, and budgets with finance
  • Develop all digital content, including A+ content related to PDP pages on designated franchises on, Amazon, and eRetailers
  • Collaborate and provide input on training, planograms and merchandising related to designated franchises
  • Collaborate and provide input on social media, eCommerce programs, and eRetailer programs associated with designated franchises

Retail Strategy and In-store Promotional Planning Responsibilities

  • Serve as the direct link between Sales Accounts and Vichy brand for designated franchises/retailers.
  • Help develop retail plan per account for Amazon (incl. e-tailers), Ulta and Target
  • Provide direction and guidance on how to execute the brand strategy at each account
  • Attend retailer events as needed


  • Bachelor's degree and experience in marketing consumer goods or pharmaceutical industry (experience with e-tailers/specialty or skin care category desired).
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, extremely proactive, excellent follow through
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask and manage a fast-paced schedule, staying one step ahead
  • Demonstrates initiative and ability to work independently
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Team-oriented, personable, articulate and comfortable interacting and working in a cross-functional team environment
