Job Title: Manager – Creative & Visual Merchandising

Location: New York, NY
As Manager of Creative and Visual Merchandising, you will liaise with a freelance creative team or /and an outside agency to create merchandising, special installations/events, printed collateral, gift sets and other key materials to be used at point of sale for each brand.
BFA degree preferred plus a minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience – beauty or fragrance experience preferred.
Required creative computer skills: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign, Quark Xpress.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Understanding of 3D (3 dimensional) space, and technical competency.
Must be able to make and execute decisions independently. Ability to accept creative input/feedback.
Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities
% of time spent.
| Design and concept ideas based on briefs and discussions from the marketing teams for all US distribution. Manage and align with DMI intension (brand codes) || |
| Present and discuss design to execution with marketing, management, and vendors. || |
| Build mechanicals for projects and release them to the vendor. || |
| Proof/match colors to ensure vendor color is accurate before it goes to press. Attend press runs to ensure color and copy prints are accurate (depends on project) || |
| Design and manage Visual merchandising branded store installation. || |
| Design and manage production& installation of Podium and event || |
| Manage & develop visual merchandising permanent and temporary guidelines || |
| Project & Supplier management, with Creative ops support || |
