Urban Decay is seeking  Manager of eCommerce to join our team in Newport Beach, CA.  


POSITION PURPOSE

 

The Manager of Ecommerce will drive sales growth of the Urban Decay eCommerce business. The Manager’s primary responsibility is day-to-day channel management and driving the eCommerce business to deliver on monthly sales objectives. S/he will be results-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and able to work seamlessly with others and across departments in a fast-paced environment with a high standard of quality.

 

Responsible for collaborating with sales, planning, finance and marketing teams to develop UrbanDecay.com launch and animation calendars to meet sales objectives. Secondary responsibilities include inventory planning/management as well as analytical reporting of SKU performance. Position will report directly to the Assistant Vice President, eCommerce.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 
  • Define and execute a yearly digital marketing plan, including marketing messaging and launch cadence ensuring UD.com has an adequate plan to reach their monthly traffic and sales goal/forecast
  • Responsible for the strategy, optimization, analysis, and execution of all acquisition-focused marketing programs.
  • Accountable for driving performance across the entire marketing mix of programs including Paid Search, SEO, Retargeting, Affiliates and Display
  • Develop and implement strategies in conjunction with Marketing, Media, PR and Social Teams to optimize traffic to the eCommerce site using various levers (media, social, partnerships etc.)
  • Partner with marketing, creative and dev partners to create and test new technologies/ innovative campaign concepts.
  • Owns SKU forecast accuracy, monthly sales phasing, and sell thru reporting.
  • Responsible for monthly formal analysis of UD.com performance of eCommerce sales and online channel performance results to senior management
  • Create and manage the eCommerce Calendar and animation plan according to brand strategy and eCommerce sales priorities to meet sales objectives
  • Work closely with CRM Lead to identify and activate audiences with media based on customer acquisition and retention campaign objectives
  • Partners daily with the eCommerce Manager of Site Experience to ensure all launches and campaign execution is successful and meets campaign objectives.
  • Responsible for the budgeting and strategic planning of samples/gifts to execute on the promotion calendar
  • Manages overall eCommerce fuel budget and vendor purchase order management.
  • Works closely with finance to ensure the eCommerce channel is tracking to budget and promotional allowance is being adhered to deliver Gross to Net objectives.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

 
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant eCommerce experience
  • Hands on experience planning and managing campaigns in Paid Search, SEO, Retargeting, Affiliate Marketing, Display/Remarketing, and partnerships
  • Deep knowledge of Excel and, hands-on familiarity with analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Demandware, Omniture, etc.) and various digital media dashboards.
  • Fully conversant with developing and optimizing integrated campaigns, and tracking both budgets and marketing ROI.
