What are key highlights of this role?

 

  • Efficiently handle day-to-day team administrative & organisational tasks (i.e. opening, distributing and sorting of post, organising and booking travel, couriers, photocopying, stationery stocks, diaries, mail, filing, holiday and attendance forms, birthdays, leaving dos, presents, events etc.) with minimal input

  • Manage updating of competitor range boards and competitor products for meetings
  • Arrange meetings with internal  and external contacts and liaise with various internal departments as necessary
  • Liaise with media buying agency, logistics department and magazines to ensure proper testing of samples are carried out efficiently and  delivered on time to relevant magazines & other distribution channels
  • Assist with creative elements for annual Away days e.g. Arranging video content
  • Arrange FIT inductions for new starters and ensure they are fully integrated into the team. Including management of induction meeting timetable , goody bag, building pass, PC, phone and password set up and team lunch
  • Maintain the competitor press advertising & tracking files
  • Be responsible for raising purchase orders, and updating budget sheets with spend
  • Maintain fully stocked product cupboard and manage sales team samples requests & customer goody bags
  • Raising NCO’s for cupboard/magazines/competitions/conferences
  • Organising store packs to be sent out to stores for product launches
  • Co-ordinating, sending & receiving of NPD from Paris and other countries
  • Regular store visits to spot NPD and purchase as well as taking ad hoc photos
  • Organisation and implementation of head trials for colourants and hair care; includes recruitment of models in advance of head trials, room and hairdresser bookings, management and organisation on the day with involvement from product managers

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Preferred qualifications/experience:

 

  • Admin experience
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and strong numeric ability
  • Touch-typing speed of 50wpm
