Job: Method & Quality Manager - Permanent contract

Location: The job will be based in Paris area in Clichy (92)

 

Context:

In the context of an IT4IT program that l’Oréal has launched a couple of months ago; the group has decided to standardize processes and organizations over the IT world. In order to achieve this goal, L’Oréal has chosen a tool, ServiceNow that will support these processes & organizations.

The position requires a high level of international coordination & management skills to make sure of the alignment with the overall program ambitions

Key job accountabilities:

In this context, L’Oréal is looking for a Quality & Method Manager.  Under the responsibility of the IT4IT program director, the Quality & Method Manager will:

  • Map, define & formalize processes across

    • Multiple IT functions (PPM, SecOps……………………..)

    • IT Product & services lifecycle (innovation, select, design, build, run, continuous improvement)

    • Multiple entities & zones 

  • Ensure acceptance of all stakeholders vs. operating processes across all functional areas (PPM, SecOps…)

    • Align all stakeholder to their roles & responsibilities (managers & escalations, key users, functional leads & SMEs)

  • Make sure that customer needs and requirements are taken into account across all project streams, all teams, all partners and any affiliate of IT4IT program

    • Ensure and build the compliance that IT4IT products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the targeted population

    • Promote value added of One Process / One Tool strategy amongst IT4IT program 

  • Be responsible and supervise the overall program consistency in terms of quality standards, process alignment & methodology adherence

    • Break down barriers between departments with the creations of the IT4IT ways of working rules & policies

    • Enforce the application of best practices development & MCO

    • Promote PM4IT & methods

       

  • Animate the IT4IT community

    • Safeguard the communication around the program under the IT4IT Program Director guidance

    • Support continuous improvement with the community

       

  • Audit & quality checks

    • Check the day to day application of the standards

    • Follow-up corrective action plans


Management & communication:

 

  • Manage third party and external partners
  • Communicate with the whole IT community and L’Oréal business
  • Work in close cooperation with the whole IT community

 

Soft skills:


Must have

  • Federative leader : Lead at all levels to establish unity of purpose and direction to create conditions in which people are engaged in achieving the organization’s quality objectives
  • Customer relationship / user management : Customer facing experience
  • Large scale process harmonization & improvement proven records
  • Coherent & realistic : hands on approach where necessary
  • Top notch communication skills (written / verbal / C-Level presentation) : ability to liaise with a broad range of people, including line management, senior management, external suppliers and related people
  • Fully fluent English both written and oral
  • Ability to operate at own initiative with a pro-active attitude / autonomy, capacity to organize

 

Technical skills:

Must have

  • Office skills
  • MS Visio & process creation
  • ITIL basic
  • Kaizen / Sig Sigma / Zero defect program or related methodology knowledge
  • Master degree
  • At least 10 years of experience as international project manager
  • Industrial approach
