Regional Sales Manager- Stores, East Territory (Matrix)

General Description:

The TM is responsible for selling and supporting the sale of MATRIX products by focusing on the development of store business in a designated geographical area. The Territory Manager reports to the MATRIX Director of Business Development for Stores (DBD).

  
  • Understand and embrace the MATRIX philosophies & Family Rules
  • Responsible for the development and growth of stores through execution of national initiatives, new products, client acquisition programs, demonstrations, incentive programs & in store education
  • Work with stores’ regional management and store managers to achieve goals and objectives agreed upon with the DBD, as well as the Matrix Divisional Brand Manager (DBM) and DBD for Saloncentric and CosmoProf Stores 
  • Travel 4 days per week to both CosmoProf & SalonCentric Stores
  • Work with DBM/DBD’s and stores to schedule, facilitate and attend regional and national sales meetings for SalonCentric and CosmoProf
  • Serve as a dependable resource for store managers, Beauty Gurus, Matrix Brand Ambassadors, and store associates
  • Responsible for supporting all MATRIX programs within their territory, i.e. local education events, sales meetings and special events
  • Work with DBD, as well as the SalonCentric DBM and CosmoProf DBD in the planning of educational programs to meet store sales objectives and support new product launches within the territory
  • Constant and inclusive communications with the store teams that both inform and involve them in the larger Matrix community
  • Act as a liaison to ensure that store team feedback and concerns are addressed by the appropriate Matrix Team members
  • Responsible for facilitating local trainings of store employees as directed
  • Report as directed on store feedback, appearances, stock levels, and competitive activity to DBM/DBD’s
  • Full comprehension of MATRIX Education
  • Full comprehension of the MATRIX Business building tools (i.e. LEVEL.)
  • Collaborate on education programs and planning

Knowledge and Skills Required

  
  • College Degree preferred
  • 3 to 5 years Salon sales and or education experience
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills
  • Exceptional follow-through on projects and commitments
  • Professional attitude and fashionable image
  • Ability to travel and work weekends
  • Strong computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Ability to be flexible, accept change and be a team player
