Key Job Responsibility:
Packaging plays an important role in consumer purchase decision, end usage experience, reflecting product value and reinforcing brand identity. To maximize the holistic user experience to our consumers and support the successful launch for brand, we need to work closely with marketing, industry and lab, by implementing consumer research to understand, evaluate and design the most optimized packaging that consumer appreciate.
The role will work together with packaging evaluation manager, to coordinate and support packaging study by
Managing packaging evaluation projects to ensure effective project delivery, from study design, fieldwork observation, to result delivery and communication
Consolidating and building packaging consumer insight and transferring the consumer insight to meaningful implication and tangible action plan, that can benefit future product development
Supervising agency quality to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the project delivery.
Exploring agency capability and new method to better meet the objective of product packaging evaluation.
Supporting communication with different packaging stakeholder to ensure the clarity of objective and smooth collaboration. The stakeholders include not only outside PPE-- lab, industry, but also inside PPE --project performance manager and consumer category leader
“Open Lab” is a new way of working for innovation projects in L’Oréal R&I. It is a multi-skilled teams that collaboratively works on specific consumer centric challenge, by applying “design thinking” principles. It is an iterative process which covers market and consumer investigation, ideation, prototyping and testing.
The role will need to support the user experience manager to
Prepare and facilitate the discussion and workshops in open lab projects
Manage effective early prototype consumer evaluation, from study design to result delivery
3 years+ Consumer research working experience, either in agency or in-house
Ideally with experience both in qualitative and quantitative.
Verbal and written fluency in English and Mandarin, confident during communication.
Curious and eager to learn
Efficient, with good time conscious.
Logic, high attention to detail and accuracy
Feeling comfortable to present or speak to a big audience, with a good sense of objectivity and accuracy when delivering the message
