This area of our business provides expertise in Finance, Procurement, Legal, IT, Digital, Communications, HR and Scientific & Regulatory Affairs.

About the role

Our Corporate Finance team are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join the team. Reporting to the Corporate Accounting Manager you will deliver the consolidated financial reporting for L’Oreal Australia including balance sheets, income trends, tax and legal statements. In addition you will:

·         Prepare year-end statutory accounts and financial statements for L’Oreal Australia.

·         Delivery of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packs for Management Committees

·         Ensure the integrity of general ledger accounts accounting for accruals, prepayments and ensuring accounts are reconciled.

·         Propose and implement all initiatives that aim to improve productivity in the process of providing accounting information to the business

About you

You will be an experienced Financial Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced and creative environment. A strong networker, you will be able to establish credibility and buy in from internal and external stakeholders at all levels of our business. Commercial and outcome focused you will be able easily collaborate with a variety of stakeholders. CA/CPA will be a must as will a relationship driven approach. Previous experience within the FMCG or retail industries will be highly sought as will experience working with SAP.
