Job Responsibilities:

As the Senior Manager for Media Ad Tech Procurement, you will become known within the company as someone who can artfully offer full Procurement support to strategic projects while building robust stakeholder relationships: Office of the CMO, Omni-media teams, Brand’s Marketing and Digital teams, Finance, Legal.

This unique and strategic role will report into the Director of Media Services Procurement. In this role, you will create, develop and implement sourcing strategies related to the current and emerging advertising technologies. You will be able to build and manage supplier relationships, practicing formalized sourcing best practices and abiding by standards and procedures. This position is responsible for supporting all L’Oréal USA best practices in purchasing, creating efficiencies in partnerships and capabilities within the business, identifying and implementing cost savings initiatives while improving the value and performance delivered by our suppliers.

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage Media Ad tech Segment

  • Support the Media Ad Tech relationships with internal stakeholders for the USA scope
  • Collaborate with interdepartmental teams, within the Procurement scope, to identify issues and opportunities for the business through a solid understanding of the ad tech industry
  • Strong partnership with Finance, Legal, Omni-Media and IT Ad-Tech
  • Scope includes, but not limited to, procurement of technologies used in the precision advertising ecosystem (DSP, DMP, Measurements, Attribution Modeling, Re-targeting…)
  • Define cost breakdown of Advertising Technologies and negotiate adapted Pricing Structures
  • Prepare purchasing projects and define objectives, resources, timelines, scope, and supplier selection criteria
  • Identify USA Stakeholders needs, market trends & innovations and develop strategic initiatives to support them
  • Bench-marking to assess our position and identify opportunities
  • Manage project-based media services negotiations and contracts
  • Identify YoY initiatives (savings, process, etc.) and develop a roadmap for implementation

Optimize & Measure

  • Identify leverages on the USA Media Services Category
  • Ensure Scope Of Work are up to date and adapted to the real needs
  • Support negotiations & coordinate regional RFPs + local implementation
  • Optimize processes and simplify administrative tasks
  • Ensure all mandatory documents are up to date and saved
  • Analyze the Trend, Budget and Financial reports for the USA Media Services Category
  • When applicable, implement savings from global contracts and validate with Finance team
  • Propose and consolidate KPIs

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4-6 years’ experience preferably within an Ad Tech Company, Ad Consulting, or Agency Trading Desk
  • A good understanding of the digital environment – You know this world by heart and you keep pace with the rapid changes within it. Hands-on experience working with media technology a big plus
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong Project Management and interpersonal communication & presentation skills
  • Team player and a self-starter; curious and out-of-the-box thinking able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Can multi-task, prioritize, and balance time across stakeholders on a daily basis while maintaining a profound attention to detail
