STORE MANAGER (m/f)


for our 1st  NYX Professional Makeup Store in the top center of Sofia


Position Summary


The Store Manager coaches and inspires the team to outperform sales goals and provide unique internal and external customer Brand experience. Analyzes week to date, month to date, year to date sales and develops action plans to drive top line sales.  Ensures the individual and collective skills of the team are utilized effectively, fosters collaboration, perfectly manages store operations, ensuring consistency and compliance.

 

 Position Responsibilities  

  • Assumes overall responsibility of the store.
  • Consistently creates a welcoming environment for the customers and quickly responds to customers’ inquiries and needs. 
  • Demonstrates respectful behavior, with passion for beauty and self-expression, driving sales, handling difficult and/or complicated sales, cash management, inventory control and follow up with customers.
  • Prioritizes, plans, and adjusts schedules as necessary to maximize sales ( staff planning)
  • Hires to the needs of the business, actively helping the Retail Manager to recruit
  • Plans, coordinates, and executes all merchandising activities, campaigns, and sales promotions in a timely manner.
  • Ensures staff is trained and knowledgeable in beauty, product, customer service, merchandising, operations and brand experience.
  • Manages and assesses team performance through consistent feedback, coaching, development plans, and performance appraisals. 
  • Forecasts stock needs, focusing on productivity to outperform sales goals.
  • Ensure company standards are met for store and team at all time. Enforces all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and security.
  • Manages store controlled expenses to budget ( staff efficiency planning, cleaning and office materials orders), identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Regularly communicates with Brand Director to discuss strengths, opportunities, and trends in business.
  • Identifies opportunities to drive traffic into the store through community and/or industry events.
  • Creates customer loyalty and maintains relationships with the community (follow the number of new loyalty cards / new loyalty member rate).
  • Ensures pricing, labelling and displays perfect exposition in at all times.

 

Requirements:

  • Passion for beauty and make-up
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience in team management
  • Excellent in team motivation and education
  • Highly developed communication and organizational skills
