The Body Shop International has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition professional to join their team to lead global strategy as Head of Talent Acquisition.


The Head of Talent Acquisition will define and lead the talent acquisition strategy for store and office for The Body Shop.  This role will identify, select, integrate, and build loyalty among the best candidates in the market to contribute to the growth and success of The Body Shop and L’Oréal by developing the attractiveness of the brand and Group among Global talent.

The role:

  • Through working closely with the business, you will lead the development and implementation of a coherent and comprehensive global talent acquisition strategy to anticipate future capabilities required by the business whilst promoting adherence to The Body Shop Commitment and L’Oréal's values and ethics
  • You will implement long term plans in talent acquisition for store and office to identify, select, integrate, and build Brand loyalty among potential candidates
  • Build and lead a global strategy for digital talent acquisition to strengthen our brand identity and attractiveness online and promotes the creation of a talent pool through digital innovations in sourcing
  • Define, implement and evaluate The Body Shop’s talent acquisition vision, policy, frameworks, tools and solutions in line with L’Oréal’s mission and objectives
  • You will effectively articulate the talent acquisition agenda and engage partners in HR, the wider business and L’Oréal and deliver programmes and toolkits to up-skill the global HR and hiring manager community in talent acquisition best practice
  • Design and deliver strategic and high quality talent acquisition solutions and adapting to the L’Oréal/The Body Shop context and culture and manage the governance and monitoring of the roll-out of the worldwide offering ensuring quality data analytics are used to drive effectiveness and improvement
  • Jointly own and drive the shaping of our global inclusion and diversity strategy and Employee Value Proposition, driving change in process and mindset for talent acquisition
  • Build and lead a global strategy for internal and external pipelining for business critical areas aligned with the internal talent management and development process
  • Lead on delivery for Executive hires
  • Inspire and lead the team and global talent acquisition community. Grow the capability of the talent acquisition team through development of expertise and skills and ensure the efficiency of learning organisation and resources through effective management of team resource and budget


Do you fit the bill?


  • Do you have demonstrable experience in talent acquisition strategy development including digital, pipelining strategic capability, EVP and Diversity
  • Have you previously lead complex and systemic projects in talent acquisition; for example innovations in recruitment including digital, EVP, strategic workforce planning
  • Do you desire to lead a best in class recruitment service across multiple geographies and business areas?
  • Can you bring commercial business knowledge and understanding of company culture and retail experience?
  • Are you passionate about team leadership with proven knowledge and experience of team and career management
  • Do you have experience of working with external suppliers and consultants?
  • Are you confident in your ability to manage and control team budget?
