Multi-Brand Beauty Advisor for L’Oréal at Detroit Airport

The Beauty Advisor is our brand ambassador who represents our brands and sells our beauty products at the store level for one of our retailer partners. As a Beauty Advisor, you will share your time and knowledge, creating a unique brand experience for every customer.  You will have the opportunity to empower the customer by listening and teaching them about our beauty products on how to use and benefit most from them. A candidate must possess a passion for beauty, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and a drive for sales achievement with integrity to deliver retail excellence.  As a Beauty Advisor you will have the tools to:

  • Master product categories (skincare, makeup, fragrances) and brand standards in order to best serve the customer
  • Execute daily business operation activities to foster sales
  • Drive sales by following the selling process and sales techniques
  • Foster a service attitude and positive working environment

Job Requirements

  • Must be elegible to work in the United States
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Passionate and self-driven
  • Ability to collaborate well with others
  • Proper grooming based on brand guidelines
  • Ability to interact with customers from multiple nationalities
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasional to frequent basis
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving about the store. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking, and/or reaching on a frequent basis.
  • High school diploma or GED required

Preferred

  • 2-5 years prior experience in a retail, sales, or cosmetics environment
  • Prior experience interacting with customers in a consultative capacity
  • Prior experience dealing with retail goals
  • Makeup Certifications from Cosmetology School or Esthetician License a plus

Beauty Advisor for Urban Decay at Detroit Airport

The Beauty Advisor who represents Urban Decay is our brand ambassador that sells our products at the store level for one of our retailer partners.  As a Beauty Advisor, you will share your time and knowledge, creating a memorable experience for every customer.  The Urban Decay Beauty Advisor must be an outgoing, big personality who is passionate about applying and selling makeup; a make-up Junky!  A candidate must also possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and a drive for sales achievement with integrity to deliver retail excellence. 

Job Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Passionate about makeup
  • Strong focus on driving retail sales
  • Ability to collaborate well with others
  • Can manage the counter without generic staff or promotors
  • Proper grooming based on brand guidelines
  • Ability to interact with customers from multiple nationalities
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasional to frequent basis

This Kiehl’s Customer Representative (KCR) is responsible for achieving individual sales goals established by management team. Provide superior customer service standards and develop customer relationships that will result in repeat business. Responsible for product and brand image presentation while maintaining a neat and organized store. Primary Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual sales and KPI goals.
  • Be aware of store and personal goals, daily performance to goal, and KPI service standards.
  • Provide exemplary customer service as outlined in the Kiehl’s Circle of Service.
  • Greet and serve customers in a timely, professional and engaging manner
  • Provide honest and confident recommendations and feedback to customers regarding products
  • Become a Kiehl’s advocate and brand expert
  • Perform daily boutique maintenance and visual merchandising tasks including stock work, re-merchandising, display, price changes, merchandise transfers and light cleaning according to Kiehl’s and management directives.
  • Follow Kiehl’s Mission, policies and procedures
  • Maintain Kiehl’s uniform and appearance image standards
  • Regular attendance and timeliness for all scheduled shifts

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Proven ability to achieve sales goals
  • 1+ years specialty retail store experience
  • Competitive drive and entrepreneurial confidence to succeed in a commission-based environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with customers and coworkers
  • Ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cosmetics experience a plus
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to work on your feet all day and walk up and down a flight of stairs or ladder if necessary
  • Lift up to 25lbs on a regular basis
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Languages: English and Mandarin a must
