L'Oreal operates in a unique distribution channel called Travel Retail covering POS such as Airports, Airlines, Cruise ships, border stores, downtown duty free stores. Travel Retail Americas is headquartered in Miami, FL.

JOB PROFILE

  • 4+ years of experience in sales, training/education
  • Experience in luxury beauty or related industry a plus
  • Acts and leads with human sensitivity (demonstrates respect, develops others, enriches team dynamics)
  • Interacts effectively (listens and communicates effectively, actively networks)
  • Displays sensitivity to quality, beauty industry
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit
  • Expert knowledge on makeup, skincare, and fragrances
  • Passion for education, teaching and coaching
  • Ability to engage teams
  • Training delivery skills and communication skills
  • People and service oriented
  • Experience managing people (trainers and/or Beauty Advisors)
  • Detail oriented with strong follow up skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong fluency in English and Spanish (Portuguese a major plus)
  • Must be able to travel 50% of the time

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and develop field teams: Regional Education Executives and Make up artists
  • Monitor and ensure the training needs are met in an accurate timing on the field, in line with the marketing plan
  • Develop a strategic education strategy for the brands in the Zone while working alongside the international brand teams and internal stakeholders to develop content and training material that is adapted appropriately for Travel Retail context
  • Develop retail selling tools for Field Education Team and BAs that are both effective and innovative
  • Communicate field activities to internal corporate teams
  • Develop seamless communication methods with the field teams and beauty consultants including leveraging established social media platforms and other technology
  • Train internal personnel on the brands
  • Develop sensitivity to the brands and monitor business performance of the brands in the territory by partnering closely with commercial and marketing teams
  • Languages: English and Spanish (must be fluent in both languages), Portuguese a major plus
