Position Title: 12-month Intern, Global Communications

Division/Department: Luxe Division – Ralph Lauren Affaire de Marque Location: 10 Hudson Yards New York, NY 10001

Internship Job Description:

The 12-month Communications Intern will support the Ralph Lauren Fragrances International Communications Team. The intern will provide administrative assistance to the team as well as project coordination, product maintenance, and ad hoc assignments.

 

Essential Duties:

  • Order, issue and track all no-charge merchandise as well as sales holds for product closet
  • Responsible for all mailings to influencers and product maintenance for event
  • Track global press and influencer coverage
  • Manage branded social media calendars for global talent
  • Coordinate and prepare materials for all communications presentations to senior management
  • Facilitate travel arrangements, itineraries and expense reports for AVP
  • Facilitate travel arrangements and itineraries for global talent  
  • Maintain calendars and arrange appointments
  • Develop global press materials, guidebooks and fact sheets, with support from global communications manager
  • Lead invoice processing
  • All other necessary administrative duties

 

Skills Desired/Requirements:

  • Recent college graduate within 12 months
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and experience developing branded decks is critically important
  • Strong verbal communication, writing and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate the absolute highest level of organization
  • Ability to handle fast-paced environment and to multi-task
  • High level of initiative and resiliency

 

Preferred Work Experience:

  • Previous internship experience in PR/communications or social media preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and foster collaborative relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
