The Sourcing Buyer contributes to the efficiency of the Purchasing department, to the respect of internal control rules, to follow suppliers’ risk.

The candidate is clearly oriented toward the Suppliers and is the key interlocutor for the strategic sourcing for the Business Service category (Facility, Logistic, IT, CarFleet, HR, Mice), creating the conditions for trust and delivering high service level in terms of efficiency, innovation and value in.


  1. Knowledge of the suppliers’ market of his/her categories by driving benchmark & RFI or market scouting
  2. Deep knowledge of the business needs, expectations, priorities and goals in his/her categories / anticipate the new sourcing and the future solutions
  3. Drive mid/long term or recurrent RFP (Request for Proposal) in link with Business needs and evolution
  4. Ability to identify new prospects and valuable suppliers able to bring tangible value, innovation and competitive advantage for our business
  5. Create the condition to build strong deals and sign contracts with our core suppliers by establishing KPI performing, regular suppliers evaluation mapping, business reviews or specific event (suppliers day, business interaction, …)
  6. In total alignment with the Zone Category Directors, deploy the strategy of his/her categories in his/her business unit or Hub by monitoring the key levers identified
  7. Able to propose a strategic approach of the Business Service category to our stakeholders such as new model, organization, transformation and simplification (more transformation than simply cost cutting)
  8. Accountable of the Budget process, as a collective action cross-department: identify the initiatives, evaluate the savings in agreement with Divisions controllers and fulfill the purchasing platform (MySourcing)
  9. Take part of the Trend evaluation and is accountable to identify risks and opportunities of the current projects or initiatives, in agreement with the division controlers

Expected skills & experience

  • Prior professional experience of min. 3-4 years requested, a plus if in Purchasing
  • Analytical mindset, business-oriented, flexible and curious
  • Strong in stakeholders management in a complex, matrix and numerous network and communication skills
  • High level of business sensitivity and value-in expectations for the company
  • Strong skills in negotiation and contract management
  • Strong in influencing and driving high level of confrontations
  • Sensible to change management and user-oriented
  • Fluent Italian and English
