Join our Supply Chain team in the capacity of a Supply Planner

The Supply Chain team at L’Oréal Benelux is to contribute to the growth and profitability of our business.

You will be working in a dynamic environment in a diverse supply planning and subcontracting team of 7 pepole; 3 supply planners, 3 subcontracting managers and a team manager. Your goal is to optimize stock levels to guarantee a good service level whilst avoiding overstock, and thus managing a healthy stock on your product category.

With so many ‘moving parts’, this job will need you to be good in planning and prioritizing tasks and influence internal decisions to take the ownership of the service level rather than to go with the flow.

The team in Hoofddorp is working both from the beautiful new and modern headquarter (3 days or more) and as well from home for more focus and finding a good work-life balance. There’s an open and transparent culture, and sharing ideas, best practices and feedback is encouraged.

EACH DAY AS PART OF THIS TEAM, YOU CAN EXPECT TO:

Contribute to the service level result of the division by taking ownership of your category and to be solving short term challenges whilst optimizing the processes to improve our ways of working and reducing the number of challenges

Learn about various aspects of supply chain and how they tie together, work together in a young and ambitious team

Develop setting priorities and raising topics before they become an issue

HERE’S HOW YOU WILL HAVE A ROLE TO PLAY IN IT:

  • Managing the stock replenishment process
  • Evaluation of shortage (RCA) and risks, and communicating clearly to the stakeholders
  • Service level analyses to increase performance
  • Maintaining a healthy stock level (i.e. slow moving and obsolescence management)
  • Discuss and optimize the stock parameters with our central team in Paris
  • Add value to the division by proactively managing issues

THE SKILLS THAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:

HARD SKILLS:

  • Understanding of the basics of how a supply chain works
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Usage of Excel beyond VLOOKUP
  • Ideally some SAP experience

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Curious mindset that’s eager to learn and improve
  • Comes up with and implements innovative ideas
  • Good communication skills to inform and escalate when necessary
  • Team player
